What Is It?

This 3rd party tested, GMP certified Detox is a comprehensive detoxification program that allows your body 7, 14 or 21 days to reset and remove harmful toxins from your body. These toxins can cause weight gain, bloating, dry skin, brain fog, mood disorders, and hormone imbalances. The results from the 7-Day detox have been shown to improve many of these issues in most people.

What To Eat?

  • The detox was created to be free of all major allergens including gluten, dairy, soy, egg, and nuts. The detox is also caffeine free and is made with pea/rice protein so it is also vegan/vegetarian. It has also been 3rd party tested for purity and contains no heavy metals

  • It is best not to cook in oil, but instead, either steam, bake, broil, slow cook, or sauté (pan-fry) in a little water to prevent sticking. You may then add 1-2 TBSP of olive oil as a dressing along with a squeeze of lemon.

  • You should be consuming about 80-100oz of water each day throughout the detox. Much of this will be from the Detox shakes themselves (each one is about 20-24 ounces). Additional water is only needed if you feel thirsty.

  • No caffeine if possible. If you are having extreme caffeine withdrawals you can have 1 cup of black coffee or tea.

  • No exercise days 1 & 2 besides walking.

How To Prepare For The Detox?

  • Get plenty of rest leading up to the detox

  • Drink plenty of filtered water before and during the detox

  • For those who consume a lot of caffeine or alcohol, slowly start to cut back

  • have your lunch and dinner meals planned for day 3 so you are prepared to reintroduce food on day 3

Why Is Detoxification Important?

A functional medicine detox can set the stage for long-lasting healthy choices. It goes beyond losing weight, and helps your body perform at it’s best allowing you to feel your best. The body has to deal with all the substances to which we are exposed — from our food to environmental chemicals, hormones, pesticides, and so on. Our liver is the major organ of detoxification, and there are a host of specific detoxification pathways that help keep the body unencumbered from toxic accumulation. Our body does this naturally, but due to the growing toxic world we live in and exposure to 77,000 man made chemicals in the US alone, our bodies, liver and other organs are often over-burdened with a continuous stream of toxins and not able to perform its function at optimal level. This body toxicity results in you not performing optimally and can lead to some of the many symptoms below.

Common Symptoms The First Few Days Of Withdrawal From The Toxins During A Detox.

The following symptoms are very common at the beginning of the program and should dissipate within the first few days. Don’t worry, these symptoms are indicative that your body is eliminating toxins and are a good sign!

How To Know If You Are Toxic?

Some examples of what might indicate a toxic system are:

  • Constipation

  • persistent headaches, muscle aches and muscle fatigue

  • consuming large amounts of swordfish, tuna, shark, etc into diet

  • mercury fillings and dental amalgams

  • food allergies and sensitivities

  • inability to lose weight

  • consistent bloating or gas

  • Heartburn or GERD

  • hormonal imbalances and consistent use of hormone replacement such as “the pill” or progesterone cream.
